Financial Adviser, Visionary, Father
2024 FAAA Adviser of the Year
Hi I’m John,
Founder, strategic wealth adviser, and visionary at Thriving Wealth, and is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most respected financial advisers.
Starting my career in finance at the young age of 14, I founded Thriving Wealth in 2009, driven by a mission to enhance financial literacy across Australia and empower individuals to achieve financial freedom while enjoying life along the way.
My passion goes beyond the numbers—I’m deeply invested in the emotional and psychological side of money. I understands that clients' financial decisions are often shaped by their behaviours, habits, and past traumas. I works with clients to not only create effective financial strategies but also to address these deep-seated money beliefs and behaviours, helping them achieve true financial and emotional well-being. My approach is holistic, aiming to transform how people relate to money and empowering them to break free from limiting beliefs.
In 2024, I was honoured as the Financial Advice Association of Australia (FAAA) Adviser of the Year, adding to a long list of accolades that includes induction into the prestigious Top of the Table at the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)—a distinction reserved for the global elite in financial services. These achievements reflect my unwavering commitment to excellence and my profound impact on clients and the broader financial advice profession.
Outside of work, I enjoys spending time with my wife and three boys, embracing my love for adventure and outdoor activities. My philosophy of blending professional success with personal fulfilment is evident in my dedication to helping others achieve the same balance in their financial lives.

““Fatherhood to me is the most important role in my life. It is a role that I love and can’t wait to see the adventures it has in store for me in years to come.
One piece of advice you give to your kids that you want the world to know:
Keep dreaming. I'd rather you be a dreamer than not dream at all. Then if you want these dreams to turn into reality, build a plan to achieve them, and if they will make you happy, then go get them.
